HUTAREE; Christian Warrior Terrorist!
Hutaree Christian Terrorists
March 29, 2010: members of a radical extremist Michigan militia group were arrested on charges of plotting to kill police officers with pipe bombs and other home-made “weapons of mass destruction.”
ADRIAN, Michigan (CBS/AP) A Michigan Christian militia group called Hutaree was raided over the weekend as part of a three state, multiple raid action by the FBI, including raids in Ohio and Indiana.
The terrorists intent was to foment an uprising against the U.S. government. According to the philosophy of the “Hutaree” or “Christian Warriors,” as they call themselves, the group was preparing for an apocalyptic battle with the forces of the anti-Christ. The group’s anger is primarily directed toward the United Nations and the United States government, who they believe are secretly plotting to destroy the U.S. Constitution and the U.N. declaration of human rights. The plot was part of a larger plan to establish a sovereign country in preparation of fighting against the anti-Christ.
According to a website purportedly run by the group, Hutaree.com, Hutaree are Christian “soldiers” who are arming themselves and training in anticipation of the coming of the Anti-Christ, which they believe is imminent.
“Soldiers?” Strange! If these people were Muslim, the media would have had a feast of a day calling these people sleeping cells, terrorists, Al Qaeda, etc!
A quote from the website reads: “Jesus wanted us to be ready to defend ourselves using the sword and stay alive using equipment.”
Right! Jesus is now using twitter to communicate with these thugs!
Their web site states:
We believe that one day, as prophecy says, there will be an Anti-Christ. All Christians must know this and prepare, just as Christ commanded. Luke 22:35-37,
And He said to them, “When I sent you without money bag, knapsack, and sandals, did you lack anything?” So they said, “Nothing.” 36, Then he said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. 37, “For I say to you that this which is written must be accomplished in me: ‘And He was numbered with transgressors,’ For the things concerning Me have an end.”
This clearly states the reason for the training and preparation of the Hutaree.
Law enforcement swarmed a rural, wooded property Saturday evening near Adrian, Mich., about 70 miles southwest of Detroit. Two ramshackle trailers sat side-by-side on the property. The door to one was slightly ajar late Sunday as if it had been forced open. Michael Lackomar, a spokesman for the Southeast Michigan Volunteer Militia, which is not connected to Hutaree, said one of his team leaders got a frantic phone call Saturday evening from members of Hutaree.
“They said they were under attack by the ATF and wanted a place to hide,” Lackomar said. “My team leader said, ‘No thanks.”‘
The raid in Michigan was reportedly connected to three other raids in Ohio and Indiana. FBI spokesman Scott Wilson in Cleveland said agents arrested two people Saturday after raids in two Ohio towns.
One of the raids took place at Bayshore Estates, a well-kept trailer park in Sandusky, Ohio, a small city between Toledo and Cleveland, where neighbors said the man taken into custody lived with his wife and two young children.
“They took over the block like it was the Army. I thought we were being invaded,” said Michael Morin, who lives two lots away.
18-year-old George Ponce, who works at a pizzeria next door to a home in Hammond, Ind., about 30 miles southeast of Chicago, that was raided, said he and a few co-workers stepped outside for a break Saturday night and saw a swarm of law enforcement, according to CBS affiliate WBBM.
“I heard a yell, ‘Get back inside!’ and saw a squad member pointing a rifle at us,” Ponce said.
In comparison, late last year, when Major Nidal Malik Hasan went on a murderous rampage, most of the national media focused exclusively on the perpetrator’s religion, and religious institutional affiliations. Well-known Islamophobic “experts” were given access to interviews by major networks and afforded a platform to propagate hate and fear of Islam and Muslims. The loyalty of American Muslims toward our country was questioned, Muslim organizations were called upon to condemn the terrorist acts, and discussions about increased surveillance of Muslim schools, organizations and masajid were prominently aired — as if Islam itself was the problem and its followers needed to be subdued.
The double standard that exists in the majority of media today, whether an oversight or deliberate, is neither recent nor limited to national mishaps, unfortunately.
When 8,372 Muslim men and adolescent males were massacred by Serb forces in the “safe-haven” of Srebrenica in 1995, the media downplayed the obvious religious extremism and bigotry of the Orthodox Christian perpetrators.
Israeli “settlers”, responsible for the state-sponsored ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in the West Bank, are never referred to as Jewish extremists.
Media bias? Most definitely. Controlled by whom? There’s only one answer.
